There is very tasty food at reasonable prices. The personnel is very friendly and courteous! And the ambience with the view of the lake is very nice.

Super nice hosts, delicious mulled wine and a nice wait by the fire for our food. We even got a marshmellow grilled personally by the boss. TOP!

Whether tarte flambée, burger, pasta, salad or chocolate cake, everyone will find what they like here. There is always a nice and relaxed atmosphere in the shop and the staff are always in a good mood and always ready to help. The boss cooks and likes to bring the plate to the guest himself. Even in Corona times, nobody looks bad here, despite the mask. For those who prefer to make themselves comfortable on the sofa but don't want to miss out on good food and drinks, the Boathouse Seeon also delivers home or offers pick-up. Just give a quick call or simply write a WhatsApp message and your order will be delivered to you in your living room. On top, all packaging is biodegradable. For the cold days, a mulled wine will keep you warm and a pork neck roll fills your stomach. There is a real autumn & winter mood. Of course all of this is also available to go. All in all a round thing. If you still have something to complain about here, you won't be happy anywhere else.

Lockdown? No matter! If you don't cook yourself, but still want to eat really good, you should get something here! Highly recommended!

Very cool atmosphere. Very cozy and diverse. You can eat really well and of high quality, but also just relax and drink a few beers or try a few new deinks.

What a great recommendation by our hotel😃 My wife and I stopped by for dinner while staying at the Kloster Seeon, and loved every bite. This isn’t a big place, but they make some great food so a reservation may be needed. My wife is vegetarian and the Boathouse menu offered dishes for the both of us. My wife had the pasta while I enjoyed their ribeye steak. Everything was perfect! We had wonderful time at the Boathouse Seeon.

Visually very inviting, but also the second star. Too expensive in terms of price. Around 15 euros for a burger with truffle fries. The burger consisted of a thin patty with a slice of cheese and some sauce, probably ketchup and mustard. No lettuce, no tomatoes, no cucumber. The bun was completely unspectacular. No truffle flavor was recognized in the fries. Another burger with halloumi was the same. What I have not yet experienced: it costs 38 euros, 40 euros are given, the remaining money was kept. What amazes me is your lack of confidence in your reaction to criticism. The fact is that the burgers with fries cost 15 euros, which is certainly the upper limit. And mine was as described above. It may be that the evening was unfavorable because many guests, and Corona, and maybe not all the ingredients are available. If that was actually the case with the ingredients, then a lower price might have been possible. What I often see on Google: The owners usually respond to critical reviews with understanding, want to do better and sometimes even apologize if something really wasn't right. Yes, there are difficult guests who write completely unjustified reviews. But I don't understand their reaction. You reacted just as angry with another reviewer. I imagine if we had said something on the spot, as you suggested. But that the burger is thin, that the truffle fries are without truffles, that we still get two euros left over (which we wouldn't have taken anyway). I'm not sure if you would have reacted sympathetically or as emotionally as it was in your answer. Finally: all the best for your company again.

Wine glasses without calibration mark. Guests can bring their own measuring beaker. Hamburger very thin meat platter. The guest is allowed to order and get his own drinks and food. Toilets are clean.

Positive: Really great atmosphere and mood, the good location right on the lake can also be judged positively. On the negative points: unfortunately we had to wait 40 minutes for our food, which is okay because we were told beforehand that it would take a little longer. The cook was really busy, and I felt a little sorry for myself because he obviously couldn't cope with the rush. As I said, that's not a problem, but the food was also a bit sobering. Maybe I made the wrong choice, but the halloumi burger with fries I ordered cost just under € 13, but for the high price it was very lean, it was just two thin patties with a piece of cheese and some sauce. I can only recommend the food truck here: a burger with a tomato slice and a lettuce leaf tastes much better, and at the rather high price (many food trucks have burgers for around 7-9 €) you can expect this. The fries were really good, but unfortunately a little too little. As a non-smoker, it was also very annoying that we were smokers from all sides, so I can only recommend it to smokers, maybe a solution could be found here too.

A wonderful piece of earth to relax! Drinks are delicious, the atmosphere is more than pleasant. The entire boathouse crew is an absolute dream. All friendly and smiling despite the mask! 😊 The drinks counter and the food truck are real eye-catchers. The seating lounge is super comfortable, very nicely furnished and above the table area there is a huge vine tendril that provides shade and looks great!

Extraordinary, unique, perfect A wonderful and very cozy location with a view of the lake and the monastery, in the evening at sunset a unique view. Everything has been designed very lovingly and perfectly down to the smallest detail - fire bowls, torches, fans, candles and woolen blankets when it gets cooler - small details that make everything so perfect. The food and drinks are super delicious, mega decorated, you have a great selection and there is something for every taste. You can also get cocktails on the go when you are on the lake with the SUP. We are already looking forward to the indoor area and great evenings in winter. Everything is just great
